Sundip Mace is the founder and director of Sun Maison, a brand advisory dedicated to building the kinds of places people want to belong to. Hotels, resorts, members clubs and destinations that guests feel before they arrive.

She leads every engagement personally, bringing twenty years of experience shaping brands for Accor, Starwood and independent luxury operators across Australia and Europe. Her career includes roles as Chief Marketing Officer and Marketing Director across properties and portfolios where repositioning was not just a strategy but a turning point. Her work spans brand launches, repositioning and the moments of transformation that determine what a property becomes and what it earns.

The instinct for hospitality came long before the career. Born in England and raised in Australia, Sundip grew up in a Punjabi household shaped by the tradition of langar, the practice of the open kitchen where everyone is fed and no one is turned away, regardless of wealth, status or background. It is one of the oldest expressions of unconditional welcome in the world. The idea that a place should make every person feel that way was simply part of how she understood people.

A fascination with how things are made and what they mean came early. It began in music, working in record stores, understanding how a designer could build an entire world before a note was played. The airlines took her further. Routes through the Middle East and Asia gave her a front row seat to what hospitality at its best actually feels like. The Old Cataract in Aswan, where Agatha Christie wrote Death on the Nile. The great manor houses of England. The private members clubs of London and New York. Each one a lesson in what an address can carry when it knows its own story.

Sundip holds a Master's in International Marketing and has been recognised across her career for work that moves both culture and commercial performance.
